Genie UK - Junior Designer
January 2017 - January 2018
I worked part-time at Genie UK, a company that supplies material lifts and work platforms, as their junior graphic designer. I started in January 2017 and already I have learnt so much and gained so many new skills. I now have vital experience in dealing with clients, working in a team, responding to briefs, and have a good understanding of how to balance projects.

Freelance
Over the Christmas period I began selling cards which I designed (see portfolio). These were sold using an Etsy page.

The Allotment Agency - Graphic Design Placement

September 2017

In September 2017 I did a two week work placement at The Allotment Agency, based in Sheffield. Even though it wasn't for long, it gave me further great experience at working in a team and also the dynamic of working at an agency. Throughout my time there I worked alongside the team on projects from many major brands including, Harvester, Giraffe World Kitchen, Ed's Easy Diner, Toby Carvery, Vintage Inns and helped with ideas on the re-branding of House of Fraser's Cafe Zest for Massarella Catering Group LTD.

UNiDAYS - Junior Designer

July 2018 - Present

Working at UNiDAYS has taught me so much about working in a studio. Despite this being an in-house role, due to the nature of the company I've experienced working with so many huge brands, allowing me to not only understand the UNiDAYS brand, but gain insight into so many others. For example, I have worked with major brands such as Apple, Spotify, Nike, ASOS, Samsung, MAC, Missguided and so many more!

Some of my responsibilities include but are not limited to;

• Designing and developing highly creative and engaging emails and various other designs for multi-channel platforms whilst following brand guidelines while always maintaining consistency. 

• Working as a team to regularly respond to design requests and meet timely deadlines in order to keep in line with brand scheduling.

• Contribute and present ideas to the wider team/stakeholders.

• Completing assigned design briefs and support on leading campaigns/ad-hoc projects by producing graphics for use on social channels, onsite, desktop, tablet and mobile.
