This project was my 2nd brief in my 2nd uni year and was my favourite project I’d done up to that point. We had to choose between 5 articles and develop an editorial design accordingly, but with only typography, no illustration. I wanted to be quite playful through my typography design so it was almost an illustration within itself. Therefore each page features bold colour and type which is attention grabbing and fun. In addition, I wanted it to be interactive, so on one page there is a quiz with a lift up flap element and on the final page the text is stuck to the page using velcro so the reader can ‘build’ the text like the quote implies. I had so much fun with this project which I think was needed so it was reflected through to the reader.
